Chestnuts forest itinerary and natural reserve of Ceto, Cimbergo and Passpardo stone engravings

This area is well known also as "chestnut forest itinerary" because of the secular chestnut trees that compose good part of its woody surface; in fact, the rock engravings of this reserve are situated in a beautiful natural mountain setting.

Our itinerary starts in the morning with the visit of the Didactic Museum of Nadro di Ceto where you can follow the numerous educational paths of rock engravings, UNESCO’s protected historical heritage, starting from Foppe di Nadro to Cimbergo in the area known as Campanine.

The picturesque medieval hamlet of Cimbergo develops at the base of an ancient, partly preserved, castle, it elicit in the visitor a great charm.
We carry on towards Passpardo, a petite medieval hamlet with a charming atmosphere and historical sites waiting to be discovered such as Plas, Costapeta, In vall, Sottolaiolo and Deria.
A bit of free time and return to the hotel at approximately 3.00 pm
