Sebino’s natural and scenic trail for trekking lovers

Between the lake and the mountains this is a magical itinerary for walkers

The path begins in the village of Riva di Solto with its narrow alleys, the squares and liberty style private villas offers a magnificent landscape ; the lake with its thousand colours, Monte Isola and the magnificent Corna Trentapassi mountain which reflects itself in the clear blue waters of the lake.

Continue along the main road and then take the mule track that leads to the village of Fonteno that has retained the characteristics of a small mountain village with narrow lanes, porticos and wooden balconies. Its strategic position on a natural terrace overlooking the lake Iseo will offer you stunning views of the lake and the mountains.

Walk along the mule track and descend towards the medieval village of Solto Collina, which rises on a plateau interposed between Lake Iseo and the upper Val Cavallina.

Walk across the small valley, following the signs CM1, you will be back on the provincial road and in the vicinity of Esmate, a small village and hamlet of Solto Collina.

Continue towards Cerrete until you reach S. Defendente, where, with a short stop, you will enjoy the beauty of the enchanting landscape, with the breathtaking views of the lake Iseo and Monte Isola. Descend towards Solto Collina, going through the small village of Furmignano and proceed along the forest path to the village of Zorzino ; from here you reach the ring that leads back to the starting point of the route.
